Dad passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 4, 2018. He was born on December 16, 1925 in Hubbard, OH. He was a 1st Sergeant in WWII and loved to tell stories about his time in the Military. He married the love of his life Dolly in 1968. They were married 23 years until she passed. He worked for Delta Airlines for 23 years and retired so they could travel and spend time together.
Dad loved spending time at Honeymoon Island state park. He would go there every day and had a bench made to memorialize Dolly. Dad also loved to play golf and watched it on TV every day.
Dad was a great father and grandfather. He was very friendly and outgoing. He loved to meet new people and tell them stories.
