As many of you know our mother (Debbie), now 71, was diagnosed with Early On-set Alzheimer’s at 56 years old. Three years ago, our father (Paul Dougharty) signed up for the first ever Ride to End ALZ in Texas. He was riding in honor of his wife over 50 years! She was a brilliant woman, daughter, mother, grandmother, wife, teacher & librarian, who loved sharing her knowledge. While she is still with us in Memory Care she has lost her ability to speak, feed herself and walk. This disease has robbed her of her and our family of so much. It's a tragic disease. Once again, our whole family is involved.

With each mile we ride, we are raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. We not only ride for Debbie but we ride for all of you who have or are working through this with a loved one. We ride for all!
