Dear Family and Friends:
The 2023 Walk to End Alzheimer's is celebrating its 30th year. This will be the 25th Walk Chester's Cheetahs will be participating in. We are walking in memory of our Dad, Grandfather and Great-grandfather, Chester Cieslak. Last year, Chester's Cheetahs raised $7,460. Our year-to-date total is $114,111. We would like to thank everyone who has continued to support Chester's Cheetahs in our mission to help find a cure for Alzheimer's.
We have a deep interest in finding a cure for this horrible disease. My sisters and I are still going to Madison every 2 years to participate in the Wisconsin Registry for Alzheimer's Prevention program.
What are the Warning Signs of Alzheimer's?
- Loss of recent memories
- Rapid changes in mood, behavior or personality
- Loss of initiative
- Difficulty performing familiar tasks
- Misplacing things in inappropriate places
- Poor judgment or difficulty making decisions
- Problems with language and communication
- Disorientation to time and place
- Problems with abstract thinking
Chester's Cheetahs would again like to set our goal at $4,000. I have set my personal goal at $2,500. I want to do my part to fight this fatal disease – but I can't do it without your continued help. I hope you will consider donating again this year or making a first-time pledge to help find a cure for Alzheimer's. I will be happy to accept any contribution ~ large or small. Contributions are tax deductible. I would like to receive pledges by Thursday, September 14. Checks should be made payable to "Alzheimer's Association". Thank you for supporting my efforts as well as Chester's Cheetahs. We're on the MOVE to end Alzheimer's!
