Mr. Parsons was a great teacher and I was shocked to hear of his passing and his fight with Alzheimers. He seemed such a proud man I'm sure dealing with this disease was quite a struggle for him. We're dealing with this horrible disease with our mother and our prayers go out to all of his family.

I loved Mr. Parsons. I was in his English class both freshman and sophomore years. He was also my home room teacher. He gave me my first and only "F" on one assignment, a book report. I came to Bishop Amat High School from a public school. I had missed some of the first week of school because my family was on vacation. I was not aware that book reports and all assignments could not be turned in if they had been torn out from notebooks. I turned in my first book report thinking I did a good job. My book report was immediately returned to me folded in Half with a huge Red "F" on the front. I was mortified! I was practically a straight "A" student. That never happened again.
I ran into Mr. Parsons again years later after high school at holiday health club or Bally's I believe it may have been at the time in Monclair. He told me his vision was going some. Rest in peace Mr. Parsons. You were a wonderful teacher and a wonderful man!

mr. Parsons was a great teacher and an excellent drivers Ed teacher. My prayers go out to you and your family. My father died of Alzheimer's in February of this year. This disease really sucks it takes away our love ones before they even know that they're gone.

He was one of my favorite teachers. He made an impression on every student he taught and influenced so many young minds.
