It is with a heavy heart that I'm sharing the sad news of the passing of my father, Richard J. Gentner, May 30, 2015, after succumbing to a 7 year battle with Alzheimer's. While my family and I are very saddened with his passing, we are finding solace in the fact that he is no longer suffering from this horribly debilitating disease and at peace.

Your father and I were friends in our teen age years. I grew up on Redfield Parkway and met Dick-Dickie as I knew him- when we often went to Gentners from just down the street. We had many good times together and I am saddened to learn of his death. May he rest in peace.
