Margaret Decker Eberhardt, 76, passed away peacefully at her Montecito home on Tuesday, October 24, 2017. She was surrounded by her husband and her three daughters after a long and dignified battle with Alzheimer's Disease.

In lieu of flowers, her family requests memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association, the largest ALZ non-profit, to accelerate the global progress of prevention, new treatments and ultimately, a cure.

Margaret was a one-of-a-kind human being but one of over 5.5 million Americans who have this heartbreaking disease.

Thank you, Margy, for always being such a warm, bright, and friendly presence in my childhood years in Winnetka and again Los Angeles. You treated us like family, and you were like family to us! We loved your smile, humor, and personality. Thank you for all the good times! You made the best of life and wanted others to enjoy it too. We will miss you. Xoxo Kristy & Andrew

I am so proud of you, Mimi. So brave in your fight. So stoic. So kind. And now raising so much money so others don't have to suffer.
I love you as big as the sky.
Missing you now and forever.

I was so sorry to hear about Margy. She was a great lady. Best wishes to you and your family Jerry during this difficult time.
