Lisa was such a lover of life. Her love of God, family and adventure were her driving forces. As strong has her body remained until her last days, Alzheimer's eventually took this beautiful lady from us into the hands of our Lord. The struggle with this terrible affliction is tough to see and experience. As many others I'm sure, we all wish there were more we could do to combat this disease. It's the hardest thing ever to see someone you have loved your whole life slowly slip away from you, minute by minute, day by day.
When you give, think of Lisa, or of someone else you likely know, and pray soon, very soon, no one will write another personal note like this.
