Ellen was a loving wife, supportive mother, fun grandmother, doting great-grandmother and friend known as GiGi. Alzheimer's, along with other dementia, took her away from family and friends piece by piece. She was angry at the disease and the control of her own life that it leached from her over a period of years. Research is making great strides every day but it takes financial support to help that continue. Ellen was always a great supporter of organizations that try to better the quality of life for others and we know she would ask you to support this organization that tries to keep what has happened to her from happening to others.
