By participating in The 2024 Ride to End ALZ - South Carolina, I took on the Virtual Ride Challenge and I plan to bike at least 252 miles during the month of July. I've also committed to raising awareness and funds to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association(R).
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Now is the time to come together to change the course of this disease! I am also participating in the Virtual Ride Challenge in memory of my husband, Bob Waldrop, who died from Alzheimer's disease 4/26/2020, after being diagnosed 4/24/2018.
Please support my efforts by making a donation. All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to provide care and support for all affected and advance research toward better treatments, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's! Your support means the world to me on this memorable journey.
