For those of you who know me and my family, it’s been a few very ruff few years. Around 2019 my father was formally diagnosed with Pre-Dementia. Over the last 3 years with Covid-19 and being home a lot I’ve witnessed my Dad deteriorate each day more and more, to the point that sometimes he has no idea who we were or where he was. He sometimes asked to go home not knowing he was home. Between getting up and falling or just doing random thing he never did was just uncomfortable to see. I knew this man to be strong and although 4”11 - he’s was a beast of a man, at times. Seeing him regress so much in this last year has been super hard for our family. November 19. 2022, He was finally at peace and no longer suffering or frustrated. I’m sad, I’m angry, I’m upset, but I know he is resting finally now.
In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in memory of my dad, in hope that a cure can be found.
