Bernice was an active and wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great, great grandmother who became noticeably affected by dementia shortly after her husband died. Her journey with dementia, later diagnosed as Alzheimer's was one of steady decline, and painfully difficult for her family to witness. She died of complications from Alzheimer's on 2/20/24. So much more needs to be done to research and cure this ugly disease so others don't have to go through this. Your generosity to this worthy cause is the greatest gift you could give our family.
