As more of my friends and family become victim to Alzheimer's disease, I find myself more passionate about the fight against it. That’s why I've registered to take part on The Longest Day this summer to raise awareness (and hopefully a whole lot of funds) for the Alzheimer’s Association.

For my part, I'll knit the Fading Memories Cowl 2024, a pattern I designed specifically for this year's event, during the daylight hours (between about 5:00 am and 9:00 pm Mountain Daylight Time) on Sunday, June 23. I invite all knitter's to join me. The Fading Memories Cowl 2024 pattern is available on Ravelry. 

For every pattern sold, I'll donate $5 to Alzheimer's Research.

This year Dianna Judge has designed a companion cowl worked in crochet. The Fading Memories Crochet Cowl 2024 pattern is also available on Ravelry.

I'll raffle off the finished cowl to someone who donates $50 to my fundraiser page. Donate $100 to get two chances to win, donate $150 for three chances, and so on. All funds will be donated to Alzheimer's research.
