Keynote Speaker: Scott T. Shreve, D.O.
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs 

Dr. Scott Shreve, D.O., National Director of the Hospice and Palliative Care Program for the Department of Veterans Affairs is a geriatrician and an engaging speaker. He is responsible for all policy, program development, staff education, and  quality assurance for palliative and hospice care provided or purchased for enrolled veterans. He led a major initiative to change the culture of care for veterans with serious illness and to assure reliable access to quality palliative care. Half his time is committed to clinical care of veterans as Medical Director and Teaching Attending at a 17-bed unit at Lebanon VA Medical Center in Penn State’s College of Medicine.
